Martin Haulena
DVM, MSc, DACZM Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer
Dr. Haulena is a board-certified specialist in zoological medicine with over 25 years of veterinary medical experience. His special interest is in developing innovative imaging modalities, anesthetic protocols, and surgical techniques for enhancing conservation-based medicine in a variety of unique species. He is Past-President of the International Association for Aquatic Animal Medicine and has authored over 75 peer-reviewed publications.
David M Liu
MD FRCPC FSIR
Dr Liu is an interventional radiologist, with an appointment as a Clinical Professor of Radiology at the University of British Columbia. In addition to benchside and clinical research, he has been credited with six book chapters, more than 50 publications, and over 100 lectures worldwide. Dr Liu is actively involved in the medical device/technology industry as a patent holder, medical/scientific advisor, medical director, and is also a member of the board of directors for Merit Medical Systems (MMSI). Working both in academics and industry, his focus is on utilizing technology to facilitate greater collaboration in the medical field.
